More amazing news! A small poetry chapbook I wrote not that long ago, one I considered lighting on fire, has been accepted for publication. Behind Walls & Glass is a small book of short poems that chronicle the sense of loss that comes with displacement and the pages are filled with nostalgia.
Some poems really force themselves out into the breathing world. Might I add that I am terrified of these poems; though they seem unassuming, they have teeth like shards and will definitely tear you & me apart. Much thanks to FLP for giving them a home.
The chapbook will be published in early 2016, right before my full-length collection, but you can pre-order your copy today from Finishing Line Press (please do!)
The book cover was graciously designed by my uber-talented brother, Medhanie Zeleke.
